Beneficiaries need a GCash account to receive the cash assistance. The application involves making a video, not more than 2 minutes, where one must state their name and location and show their conditions. The video should be sent as a private message to the initiative’s Facebook page.
The super typhoon battered Bicol the hardest, with Catanduanes and Albay seeing damage to thousands of homes, communication lines and trees.
