The television academy Emmy Awards has honored Game of Thrones (GOT) by giving the cast a standing ovation!

Although GOT casts did not bag almost all the awards last night, their show was honored by getting the Best Drama Series after casts’ farewell in their eighth season.

The show bagged 10 awards in the Creative Arts Emmys last week, and previously won 12 awards in 2015 for its fifth season.

Their wins from the Creative Arts summed up the 2 awards they got from last night, including the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama for the character of Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister.

Nevertheless, fans were not shocked by the Academy’s verdict as paralleled to what they felt with GOT’s final season, too. Regardless, to welcome and stand for the actors involved in this popular series of HBO was such a heartwarming display of support and celebration for the one of a kind series.

On the other hand, HBO still had their victories as Barry and Succession got some of the top category prizes, including Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Bill Hader as Barry and Jesse Armstrong for his writing powers in Succession, one of HBO’s most recent popular series.

Amazon also won a number of awards for its darling shows like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and the newly premiered for Amazon Prime Video, Fleabag. Fleabag won the Best Comedy and Best Actress in a Comedy series.

Netflix, however, did not succeed compared to their wins from previous years, but still got some for their shows When They See Us and Ozark
