Hooray! Twitter now finally allows you to upload your Live Photos, Apple’s most iconic camera options on iOS, as GIFs.

Before, Twitter had been rendering your Live Photo into a still photo when uploaded on their platform. To keep the magic of that moving photo, you must use another app to convert the Live Photo into a GIF post—such an exhausting thing to do.

But now, Twitter has just announced that your Live Photos can be directly uploaded as GIFs, so no conversion needed.

“Give the gift of GIFs. You can now upload your iOS Live Photos as GIFs anywhere you upload photos on Twitter,” declared Twitter on Twitter.

To do this, of course, first: go to your Twitter iOS app. After that, draft a tweet, select a photo from your camera roll, then tap the “GIF” button on the lower-left corner of the photo in your tweet compose window.

Then, voila! Your moving photo is now a GIF.

Surely, your Holiday photos will now be more lively-looking with this new Twitter feature

Spread the news! 🙂
