After years of being called lookalikes, Liza Soberano and Nancy McDonie of Kpop girl group Momoland have finally met each other.
Last night, the two beauties attended the ABS-CBN Christmas Special.
According to James Banaag, a media coordinator, it was Nancy and the rest of Momoland asked Liza for a photo op backstage.
“Nice meeting you Liza,” the Kpop star wrote on her Instagram account.
It’s been a while since a lot of fans noticed that Liza and Nancy have resemblance. And now that they’re standing side by side, people can really confirm that they’re each other’s Filipino/Korean doppelganger.
Last April 2018, in a Facebook Live session with members Ahin and Daisy, Nancy for the first time searched for pictures of Liza. She was stunned by Liza’s visuals and said the latter looked like Ariana Grande.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Philstar in August of the same year, the Kapamilya actress was asked if she actually looks like Nancy and she said:
“Ako po, ‘di ko nakikita personally. She’s really beautiful, but ako po, I don’t see that we look alike. But she’s really very beautiful and talented.”
The “Bboom Bboom” hitmakers recently signed a contract with ABS-CBN and they are now officially Kapamilyas. So, this means fans will have more chance of seeing the two together in one frame.
Currently, Liza is shooting for a new teleserye called “Make It With You” with on-and-off screen partner Enrique Gil, whereas Nancy will be starring in the upcoming online series, “Soulmate,” with James Reid.
