Manila Water, Metro Manila’s number one water services provider, advised its customers of the possible rational water interruption.
The water company said the water level of Angat Dam, which supplies water to Metro Manila and neighboring areas, decreases further because of its minimal inflows.
In line with this, Manila Water announces that it may implement rational water interruption.
Here are the following areas that will be affected by the water interruption starting October 24:
- Quezon City
- San Juan
- Angono, Rizal
- Antipolo, Rizal
Meanwhile, the schedules of interruption in the mentioned areas here.
In addition, Manila Water also urged its clients to use water wisely and responsibly.
Maynilad also held a daily rational water interruption a few weeks ago due to lack of rainwaters in Angat and Ipo dams within the past days.
