Cake

We’ve all been there: You’re craving something sweet but you don’t feel like baking anything fancy. Luckily, there’s a solution. Here are a bunch of dessert recipes you can make from start to finish in the microwave.

Cookies and Cream Cake

Start with your favorite crumbled sandwich cookies like Oreos and mix them with milk, oil, flour, sugar, vanilla and baking powder. After about two minutes in the microwave, you’ll have a warm and gooey mug cake.

Bread Pudding

They’re topped with butter and a mixture of egg, sugar, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon, then cooked in the microwave until piping hot and gooey.

Red Velvet Cake

It was quite fun, but it also made me realize that my red velvet mug cake needs work. Most of these ingredients are flour, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.

Strawberry Pop Tart

A Pop Tart is something that is normally cooked in a toaster BUT a Pop Tart in a Mug is a whole other wonderful thing. You mix it in a mug and cook it in the microwave!

Carrot Cake

Don’t worry if you don’t own a blender — you can easily use a fork to mash up the carrots and the wet ingredients. Then just pour everything into greased ramekins and pop them into the microwave.
