NBA games now back in Philippine television for free

Basketball enthusiasts can now enjoy watching the National Basketball Association (NBA) games in their television for free, as viewing is now available in Philippine television for 2019-2020 season. 

CNN Philippines will be telecasting the games starting on Saturday. 

CNN Philippines had multiple talks and discussions with the professional American sports league, resulting in an agreement to see the NBA weekend games until December. 

“Weekends just got better with the return of live NBA games on national television through CNN Philippines,” said the NBA Philippines Managing Director Carlo Singson.

Filipino fans now have a choice of watching our games across a variety of platforms including television, computers and mobile devices via social media and NBA League Pass,” he added. 

Aside from that, CNN Philippines’ Sports Desk and News Night will give fans the highlights of the games.

The first game that will be telecast is the Boston Celtics vs. Golden State Warriors on November 16 at 11:30am. 

After that, on Sunday at 8:00am, reigning MVP Giannis Antetokoumpo and the Milwaukee Bucks will be facing Indiana Pacers. 

However, on Nov., 23, Saturday, a Western Conference showdown with the Houston Rockets fighting with Los Angeles  Clippers will be featured at 11:30am. Then, on Sunday, Nov. 24, will be New Orleans Pelicans and the Utah Jazz’s. 

The game of Dallas Mavericks vs. the better Phoenix Suns on Nov. 30 at 10:00am will end the games for the first month. 

Meanwhile, the schedule for December has not yet been announced.
