People hope to see Apple’s 2019 iPhone lineup next month!
If Apple’s tradition from the past two years will continue, it will reportedly launch its three new iPhones this year as well. Although this time, the company might have a major change in marketing strategy — Apple will release all phones simultaneously!
The upcoming iPhone models would be iPhone 11 (iPhone XR successor), and the Iphone 11 Pro duo (iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max successors), which are expected to be on sale in the same month of their launch in September.
In the last two years, Apple’s release has been a bit inconsistent. iPhone X was up for sale much later than the iPhone 8 in 2017, while the sale for iPhone XR only begun a few weeks after the release of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
Regardless, the successors of the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR are hoped to be released at once, according to Wedbush analyst Dan Ives.
All new iPhones are likely to adopt upgraded A13 chips from Apple’s chip supplier, TSMC. Upgraded chips typically bring improvement in the performance and efficiency of phones, yet A13 will have no difference.
Rumors about the next generation 6.5-inch and 5.8-inch OLED iPhones include the triple-lens rear cameras feature of the gadgets — wide-angle, super wide-angle, and telephoto lenses.
Meanwhile, the successor of the iPhone XR will feature a dual-lens camera with wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens.
The upcoming iPhone 11 devices are rumored to be featuring a Lightning port for audio and charging.
Softbank President Ken Miyauchi, an Apple Japanese partner, was the one who recently tipped the release dates of the new iPhone models. They are expected to go up for sale starting September 20, while pre-orders will be open on September 13.
