“We are proud to host the very first Nickelodeon SlimeFest in Asia! This has been long awaited and will bring to life the elements we know kids love — music, slime, and mayhem,” said the country lead of Viacom International Media Networks in the Philippines, Jacque Ruby.

The vice president of Global Mobile Consumer Business KD Dizon also shared his excitement for the event.

“We are so excited to partner with Nickelodeon in bringing Asia’s first Nickelodeon SlimeFest to the Philippines. We can’t wait to give our customers a wonderful, one-of-a-kind family bonding experience,” he said.

SlimeFest set of performers

Nickelodeon announced its first wave of performers — Jannine Weigel, a Thai-German songwriter and actress, and Kira Kosarin, pop singer and a star of Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans,’ will host and perform at the show.

The brand will further announce its other hosts and performers soon.

Filipino audiences and families will get to be messy and merry as the Festival will feature a non-ticketed area that has unique and engaging activities. They will be able to meet their favorite Nickelodeon characters while enjoying the music-themed games and activities.

“Our Nickelodeon fans have made us the number 1 kids channel in the Philippines, so we’re happy to give back with even more content and events that they love us for. Part music festival and part giant party for the entire family, SlimeFest is definitely one for the books!” Ruby said.
