We now have an alive idea of the new Pokémon Switch Games duo, Sword and Shield. Nintendo has revealed that they will offer the games along with the Gen 8 Pokémon, the region of Galar, and more!

We now also got the release date! The new Switch Games will be up globally this coming November 15. Not only that, the trailer is now released, as well as gameplay details.

While Pikachu and Eevee games were kind of a reboot for the original Red and Blue in the Nintendo Gameboy, this new games will be the mainline Pokémon experience in the Nintendo Switch.

Therefore, expectations are very high with this Sword and Shield. Moreover, trainers will surely swoon over these new features that Nintendo has prepared.

Here’s the Trailer:

Pokémon Sword and Shield News

This wolf-like duo are the Legendary Zacian (Sword) and Zamazenta (Shield).

Same with the Pokémon Go, Sword and Shield will allow trainers to have a team with three others online to take on more powerful characters.

You also have this Dynamax Mode wherein trainers could make their Pokémon giant and super-powered. You are only allowed to activate this mode once during the battle, and last 3 turns until it reverts to normal size.

New Settings and Characters

The new setting of the Sword and Shield called Galar, features a Wild Area. This is where trainers could explore, battle, and capture Pokemons. The appearance of certain Pokemon will depend on the environment and weather.

Pokemon leaders will battle in Stadium this time rather than the usual location in gyms. These stadiums are huge with cheering crowd.

A new set of protagonists is a cause for a new rival, of course. Nintendo announced that Hop will be the new enemy, whose older brother is Galar’s Pokemon champion. On the other hand, Professor Magnolia and her assistant Sonia will be your guides in the game.

There is this speculation that there will be two regions that will be featured in the Pokemon Sword and Shield. Other than Galar, the theory states that Kalos region from Pokemon X and Y will also be featured.

November 15 will never be this far as you wait for this Pokemon Duo!

Wait until all the theories in your head (and probably on your notebook) will all be proven.
