Taylor Swift has been known for being a fairy godmother, lending out a hand whenever she can. This time, she helped her fan named Ayesha Khurram pay her college tuition this semester by sending almost $5,000 USD.
Swift reportedly sent Khurram, who is a Toronto resident, $6,386.47 CAD, which converts to about $4800 USD.
In her Instagram and Tumblr accounts, Khurram posted the receipt email showing that Taylor Nation, LLC, deposited the money in her account.
Not only that, this also comes with a sweet note from Swift herself: “Ayesha, get your learn on girl. I love you! Taylor.”
In an Instagram post, the loyal fan had shared about her financial struggles just hours before Swift came in to help.
“I posted about struggling with paying for tuition. two hours later, i get this in my email. i have no words and i can’t stop crying,” Khurram captioned.
“I don’t have words i don’t have words i don’t have words i can’t stop crying,” she added.
She also posted on Tumblr a video of her initial reaction, saying that she could not type words at that time so she just said, “Taylor, I love you so much,” while crying.
“Every single time in my life that I’ve been going through something, you’ve been there for me … thank you, I love you so much!”
This is not Swift’s first time to show generosity to her fans.
In fact, her most recent heroic act was in October 2018, when she donated $15,500 to a 19-year-old fan whose mother has been in a coma for the past three years.
In the same year, Swift met a boy with autism during her Reputation Stadium Tour and donated $10,000 for a service dog.
In 2015, during her 1989 World tour, the singer helped a homeless and pregnant fan buy a home and everything that she needed for her baby. At that time, Swift also sent a $1,989 worth of check to help her fan start paying for student loans.
The list just goes on for the times Swift brought hope to humanity and she has proven herself to be a fairy godmother for all the fans who need some help.
