Toothpaste use to clean and polish your teeth. But you know that it can use in handy to clean lots of things around the house. It is a mild abrasive, often made with baking soda, that removes dental plaque. Same abrasive action works wonder on removing scuffs and stains on everything from walls to shoes or to polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures.

If you have though stains on your white sneakers, try to use it with baking soda and add some water. Use a soft toothbrush to apply on the stains and scrub it gently in a circular motion. Wipe it after then dry.

You can use toothpaste to give silver serving pieces a good cleaning. Just rub on the paste and you can see the tarnish transfer to the cloth you are using. Rinse well in hot water and buff with a dry cloth.

A small amount of toothpaste can remove crayon marks, use a sponge to remove marks and finish by wiping down with a damp cloth and allow the area to air dry.

Clean a Curling Iron and Hair Straightener

Toothpaste removes the gunk easily without damaging the appliance surface. Put a dab of toothpaste on a dry cloth and wipe away the buildup. Wipe with damp cloth and allow the surfaces to air dry.
