Ramon has made its landfall on Wednesday morning over Sta. Ana Cagayan, although it weakens into becoming a severe tropical storm, according to PAGASA.

Typhoon Ramon has made its landfall on Wednesday morning over Sta. Ana Cagayan, although it weakens into becoming a severe tropical storm, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Ramon has maximum sustained winds of 100 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and up to 165 kph of gustiness. 

The 5am report from the weather bureau said that the typhoon was spotted around Baggao, Cagayan, moving southwest at 10 kph as of 4am today.

Coastal Flooding; TD Sarah

PAGASA said coastal flooding may be experienced in the coastal areas of Northern Luzon, particularly on its western and northern areas. 

The weather bureau also warned the risk of getting sea travel over the seaboards of areas under TWCS, especially not with those who have small sea craft. 

Meanwhile, PAGASA is also monitoring Tropical Depression Sarah, which is located at 750 km east of Infanta, Quezon or 510 km east northeast of Virac, Catanduanes as of 4am. 

Its weather disturbance has maximum sustained winds of 55kph and 70kph of gustiness, and moving at 25 kph northwest. 

Sarah will probably intensify into a tropical storm within the next 12 hours, said the weather bureau. 

Moreover, PAGASA said that light to moderate with irregular to frequent heavy rains will be experienced over: 

Batanes
Cagayan including Babuyan Islands
Apayao
Northern portion of Ilocos Norte

However, light to moderate with occasional heavy rain may prevail over:

Ilocos Sur
Abra
Kalinga
Mt. Province
Ifugao
Northern portion of Isabel
The rest of Ilocos Norte
